I graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and then I earned a Juris Doctorate and Masters of Public Health consecutively. I practiced health care law exclusively for 10 years before transitioning into Mental Health. I have a wide variety of learning experiences, but it all came together in helping me live out my purpose.
I work with individual adults who deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions and other mental health challenges, and my specific niches are codependency, childhood trauma and healthy relationships. I believe every one of us deserves to lead a flourishing life, and I’m passionate about helping others achieve that. Together, we focus on your strengths and how you can cultivate the life that you want.
Hi, there! I'm Bijul Enaohwo and I am an Attorney, a Psychotherapist and the founder of this practice. Bijul comes from Obiajulu which means "my mind is at rest". One of my goals as a psychotherapist, and the heart of this practice, is to help others achieve just that, a mind at rest.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, meaning I use many different evidence-based treatment modalities and neuroscience research to personalize my work with each individual.
In working with all clients, I provide unconditional positive regard and I understand the impact of life experiences, attachment styles, and culture on each person’s current functioning.
No two people are the same, and my approach is rooted in this understanding. Our work together will be tailored to you, your needs, and your goals.
My own journey has allowed me to become a therapist who leads with compassion and understanding, while providing a safe environment for you to feel heard and respected.
